nSpa Melting Cleansing Gel

This is one step of the nSpa Beauty Rituals Routine. The range is a four step routine for you to follow to help transform your skin.

This is the Melting Cleansing Gel. Step 1 of routine.

What they say:

'To recreate the bliss of a true spa facial, begin you four step Beauty Ritual with this gentle yet effective cleanser. Packed with moisturising Ginseng and Vitamin E, as well as enhancing Grapeseed Oil and essential oil of Neroli, it glides effortlessly without dragging the skin, then emulsifies to remove make-up and impurities'

This is such a great product. It removes every scrap of make up from your face in one use. Other than your eye make up, be careful not to get it in your eyes, it stings. A lot. I have tried many cleansers, but this is a big hit with me.

As the directions say, I apply this to my dry face and massage it in using small circular movements. It slowly turns from a gel to a kind of oil of your skin. The smell is so lovely and clean, almost like baby shampoo. Then, you wet your fingers and massage again whilst the gel turns into a milk.

I have taken a few photos on the back of my hand, which I hope shows you how the product changes as you massage and add water.

This is about how much product I use on my face, I dot it all over my dry skin and start to massage it in

After massaging it feels like a oil on your skin

With wet fingers, massage again and the gel turns into a milk. After rinse with warm water.

As the gel melts, it removes all make up along with it while cleansing and clarifying your skin. I have never used a cleanser like this and I absolutely love it! It works so well, and does not dry out my skin whatsoever.

I picked this up from Asda for £5, which is a great price, for a great, great product.

I will be back tomorrow with my review of the Hot Cloth Polish, Step 2 of the Beauty Rituals Range.

Have you tried any products from this range?

Superdrug Vitamin E Radiance Moisture Cream

I have been so torn with this moisturiser. But I've decided now, I like it. Not love, like.

The cream contains light reflective pigments to give an instant glow to the skin. It also claims to give 12 hour moisturisation. I agree to both of these claims, when applied after cleansing my skin looks fresh. A little goes a long way and I don't need to use much more product than pictured below.

However, I wouldn't use this when I'm not wearing make up as my skin looks a bit too 'glowing'. Its a great base to foundation, it gives that nice dewy look, which I really like. It definitely does moisturise my skin all day, but it doesn't get greasy by the end of the day. Even after a day at work, my face wasn't a shiny mess at 6pm.

It also contains SPF 15, which I like. I think its so important to have SPF in make up, as I know I'd regret it later on in my life. Like they say (who exactly are they?!), how you look after your skin in your 20's paves the way for the 30's, 40's, 50's.

I think the reason being so torn with this was that I couldn't just cleanse, apply this and do the school run, like I do most days. I feel a bit too glowy, and possibly I could dazzle the other mums with the light reflecting pigments on my face ;)

All in all, it's good. It smells nice, and works well.

Payday Treats! Part 1...

It feels like I have been waiting for payday for forever! Today I did a hop, skip and jump into Boots and Superdrug itching to spend some of my hard earned wages (OK, earned. ;))

There's no award winning photography here (is there ever!?). I was dying to blog what I bought and didn't want to wait for daylight. So I am splitting it into two posts. The make up will have to wait for daylight to photograph.

Anyway, enough of the waffle. Here's my haul..

Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care Range:
Hot Cloth Cleanser
SPF 15 Radiance Moisture Cream
Exfoliating Facial Scrub
Nourishing Night Cream

This little lot cost me £7.98! Reeesult! I've read great things about the Hot Cloth Cleanser, and I've been dying to use it. The cost of just one is £5.99, but you can buy 2 for £3.99. How fabulous is that? I am looking forward to try all of these products and will do a review on each one. I don't want to overload my skin (it will be an oily mess!) so I will do it bit by bit.

Superdrug Chocolate Brownie Dry Shampoo

This was a deal, buy one get TWO free! So I got three for £1.99. I haven't tried this one before, so I am looking forward to. I am a brunette, and the usual dry shampoo makes it grey.

Superdrug Coconut and Sweet Almond Intensive Conditioner

I started swimming again this week, and my hair is so dry after, despite using loads of conditioner. So I thought I'd give this a go, and for £1.49 its no biggy if its rubbish. It smells lush! I am a sucker for coconut, it is one of my favourite scents. Hair products don't usually excite me, I normally buy whatever is on offer at the supermarket. But, I think I will make more of an effort now, purely for research purposes for the blog ;)

Montagne Juenesse Face Masks
Blemish Mud
Passion Peel Off
Green Tea Peel Off
Strawberry Souffle

I've said before, I love face masks, and I'm addicted to using them right now. Peel off face masks are oh so satisfying to use. I can't wait to try them all. These were from Home Bargain 3 for £2. I also bought one from Boots for £1 to get my spend over £5 for another No7 voucher.

I looked at my Superdrug receipt, and I saved a whopping £8.96! Ace!
