Simple Vital Vitamin Night Cream

I will be a better blogger next year, that's for sure. Life is hectic at the moment, we're trying to get ready for Christmas and we're decorating our living room! I completely know how to make life a little bit harder for myself :) I thought I'd try a blog post from my iPhone, fingers crossed this works.

Anyways, back to the topic. I bought this Night Cream not so long ago and wanted to give it a good try before I blog about it. I bought it from a store called 'Home Bargain' where you can buy a lot of branded products for super cheap. I think this was about £2.99 or somewhere about.

I have combination skin, and it's gone hey wire in the cold! I have a t zone which is prone to greasiness and dry cheeks. But my t zone can also be dry. What's that all about?! My skin definitely needs the extra moisture right now.

The cream is fairly thick, but absorbs lovely into my skin.

I found after using another night cream I had an awful break out and my skin was an oil slick the morning after, but not at all with this. In fact, it just seems nicer.

If you after a little bit of extra moisture through the night, definitely try this one out. It's rather cheap in Asda, I noticed, too.

Thanks for reading :) hope you like xxx

Releasing My Inner Magpie..

I'm not normally one for sparkles and sequins. But I couldn't help myself with this beauty.

It cost £29.99 and was from Zara. I completely love it! I used it for my works Christmas night out on Saturday.

Heres another photo with a flash, you can see the sparkliness of it.

I had every intention of doing a photo of my complete outfit, but I was in such a rush I had no time whatsoever. I just really had to share my bag, though.

Are you a sparkly kinda gal? ;)

FOTD, and My ELF 'Must Haves'

So, I'm struggling to get to grips with blogger! And I chose a busy time of year to start a blog! The build up to Christmas as a mum is madness.

A friend asked me what I would reccommend from ELF, and I use quite a few of their products on a day to day basis. These are my 'Go to' products:

ELF Flawless Finish Foundation
ELF Mineral Booster in Sheer
Collection 2000 Last Perfection Concealer
ELF Studio Blush in Candid Coral
ELF Cream Eyeliner in Gunmetal

I have only started using foundation very recently, I found myself really wacking on the concealer and thought it was high time I bought foundation! ELF is so cheap that I could try one and not be too bothered if it wasn't for me, this was £6.50 and I bought it on one of their 50% off events. I find I have to work fast with it, otherwise it's hard to blend in. I use a my fingers and then my ELF powder brush to blend and buff it. I'm not sure what colour I have, but I think I must go darker next time. That is the problem with buying online, I suppose, it's just guess work.

The ELF Mineral Booster seems to 'set' my base make up, and make it last longer. I also use my powder brush to apply this.

ELF studio blush in Candid Coral is my favourite blush. I find myself wearing this a lot. And I've hit the pan. *mental note made to buy another*

The Gunmetal cream eyeliner is a new one to my list. I'm such a eyeliner novice its untrue. However, this is SO easy to apply, the little brush it comes with helps with that. It lasts all day long.

If I had one brush in my life it would be the ELF Studio Powder Brush, I love it. This is a must!

Here's an FOTD photo with all products together. My boys were creating bloody murder over Buzz Lightyear in the background, possibly thats why I'm frowning! ;)

I also used L'oreal 4D Lash Architect Mascara and coloured the gaps in my brows with my Primark Eyebrow kit. On my lips I have Carmex as they're so dry right now, I've noticed the cold is hitting me hard this year!

What are your 'go to' products?

Thanks for reading :) x
